After three months of competition, Yutong has successfully concluded its 22nd Technical Skills Competition.

This year’s event featured 40 competition categories and attracted 1,413 employees, 300 more than last year.

Covering manufacturing, R&D and technical fields, the competition provided employees with opportunities to demonstrate their expertise, exchange experience and further develop their practical skills. The preparation and competition process also enabled participants to identify areas for further improvement in technical application and hands-on capabilities.

As the commercial vehicle industry continues to advance toward electrification, intelligent technologies and higher levels of product development, Yutong continues to update its competition categories to keep skills development aligned with technological and business development. The categories have expanded from traditional manufacturing skills to emerging areas such as vehicle control programming and CAE analysis, reflecting the evolving capabilities required in modern commercial vehicle manufacturing.

The technical experience, effective working methods and improvement ideas developed through the competition will also be applied to employee training, work standards and manufacturing processes, helping turn individual experience into broader team capabilities.

Through continuous skills development and practical learning, Yutong is strengthening its professional workforce and supporting improvements in product quality, technological innovation and manufacturing capabilities.
