Yutong Bus Delivers Strong First-Half 2026 Performance with Continued Global Growth

Zhengzhou, China – August 2026 — Yutong Bus has reported solid financial and operational performance for the first half of 2026. The company recorded revenue of RMB 16.72 billion, up 3.65% year on year, while net profit attributable to shareholders reached RMB 1.87 billion. Operating cash flow increased significantly to RMB 5.95 billion, reflecting continued improvement in overall operating quality.
Continued Growth in Global Markets
International markets remain an important driver of Yutong’s growth. In the first half of 2026, Yutong exported 6,642 medium and large buses, representing 22.08% of China’s exports of buses over 7 metres.
New energy bus exports reached 1,654 units, increasing 54.1% year on year, as cities and operators around the world continue to accelerate the transition towards cleaner public transport.
Yutong buses are now operating in more than 100 countries and regions, with cumulative exports exceeding 138,000 units, including more than 13,000 new energy buses. The company’s global service network includes more than 400 authorised service locations, supporting customers with after-sales service and parts supply.

As public transport continues to move towards lower-emission and zero-emission solutions, Yutong is increasing its investment in new energy technologies.
In the first half of 2026, Yutong invested RMB 829 million in R&D, focusing on technologies that improve vehicle reliability, energy efficiency, safety and whole-of-life operating value.
