Yutong sees rapid growth in Middle East
A bus usually has over 60,000 spare parts. Thanks to the fast development of its business, Yutong has already formed a well-rounded industrial chain and is capable of producing some key parts, such as air-conditioning systems and bus chassis. At the end of 2010, Yutong set up its office in Dubai, aiming to strengthen its presence in the Middle East. In the first year, Dubai Office realized a total sales revenue of ten million RMB. In just five years, the office has seen its sales revenue jump to over 40 million RMB. Currently, it mainly focuses on promoting Yutong’s new energy buses and expanding its business to some unexplored countries.
With favorable locations, advanced logistic facilities and diverse culture, Dubai is also Yutong’s distribution center in the whole region, responsible for the provision of all kinds of spare parts to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Oman, Qatar, etc. Located in Dubai’s Jebei Ali Free Trade Zone, Yutong enjoys fast and convenient customs services and marine routes to many cities around the whole world.
According to Gao Jianxun, Director of Yutong Dubai Office, the office is mainly in charge of three important tasks. First, it is to provide spare parts to all customers in the region; second, it is to provide marketing and after-sales services; third, it is to improve customers’ overall satisfaction. In general, the office is cooperating with local sales agents to support the smooth operation of Yutong bus fleet.
