Sri Lankan Prime Minister inspects Yutong
Sri Lankan Prime Minister D. M. Jayaratne, accompanied by Song Xuantao, vice governor of Henan Province, Mr. Hu Quan, vice mayor of Zhengzhou city and other provincial and municipal leaders, inspected Yutong Industrial Park on July 20.
After watching the corporate video about Yutong and led by Mr. Tang Yuxiang, President of Yutong Group, the Prime Minister got on a Yutong bus and made a tour about the park. After learning that there were 2,600 Yutong buses serving the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Jayaratne was pleased and expressed a willingness to cooperate with Yutong.
Prior to the departure, Tang presented a blue bus model of Yutong ZK6127 to Jayaratne and he accepted it gladly. Finally, Jayaratne shook hands with reception personnel and wished Yutong a prosperous future.
Mr. Qin Yangwen, the vice President in charge of overseas market delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the company and accompanied the inspection.
It is reported the Sri Lankan delegation would stay in China from 16 to 21. After attending the special meeting of Asian political parties for poverty alleviation and the National Pavilion Day of Sri Lanka in Shanghai Expo, they arrived in Henan Province on the evening of July 19.
